Distinctive mountain getaways

Our family had a wonderful stay, Jeffery was easy to reach and responded quickly to my questions. I cannot say enough about how well thought out this home is! The kitchen is a delight for those who wish to cook. There are multiple comfortable spaces to sit in, both indoor and outside. The pool was clean and temperature perfect. We really enjoyed it!

We loved staying here. The townhouse was beautiful and Jo was a great host and was very responsive throughout our stay. She left a sweet welcome basket when we arrived. The townhouse was quiet and private and was exactly what we were looking for on our weekend getaway. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

La casa estaba muy limpia y ordenada, todo parecía nuevo. La zona esta tranquila. Esta muy cómodl. Jo super al pendiente y las indicaciones bien claras. La ubicación para ir a Whiteface a esquiar esta cerca, si se necesita carro ya que no hay nada cerca.

Jo was an exceptional host, excellent communication. Made our vacation seamless. Her home is SPOTLESS and comfortable with everything a family needs. We cooked multiple meals here with ease and appreciated the little extras Like seasonings and aluminum foil. Beautiful location - close to Whiteface for skiing. We also enjoyed snowshoeing and walking around the property. Hot tub was awesome-perfect spot for coffee in the morning and cocktails after skiing all day. We will be back!!

We had a peaceful anniversary getaway at Jo’s place. We enjoyed the spacious hot tub in the snowy winter weather. The home was lovely and very clean having everything we needed including the things we didn’t think to bring to prepare our meals. When the wind knocked out the power momentarily Jo was responsive within moments and even came out to reset the hot tub for us and was very friendly and helpful but non intrusive on our night. This was a great space for us to spend a private, quiet weekend away from the noise of the world! The views are spectacular, the local shops and restaurants in Lake placid are close and worth the drive. We highly recommend Jo’s place for a peaceful getaway in the mountains any time of year!

Jo was an excellent host! The home was beautiful and thoughtfully detailed. We had a great week and would absolutely come back again.

Listing was exactly as described. Very clean and inviting. Our kids loved having house slippers as an option. The beds were very comfortable. And it was super convenient to get to the mountain. Also near Lake Placid making it easy to dip in for restaurants and shopping.

We had a great stay! The place is very comfortable, stocked and beautifully designed. We had everything we needed and were very close to skiing at Whiteface. Jo was a very responsive and helpful host!

This was our second year staying at Jo’s home. Property is extremely clean and well stocked. Quiet location with a beautiful view. Highly recommend!
