5 minutes to Whiteface mt for skiing and biking. We are in the center of all the ADK trails. Fantastic location!

 

Soak in the hot tub at night while looking at the lake. In summer time, there are free Thursday-night concerts at the lake.

 

Newly built townhome with lots of natural light, clean lines and modern finishes, EV charger, and new appliances.

 

Very quiet and serene spot.

 

Our 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath townhome is located in the Owaissa Club in Wilmington, NY.

 

The townhome has two levels. Upon entering, you'll be on the main level which has a Master King suite, looking out onto the deck with a hot tub.

 

The main level also has an open plan kitchen, dining area and living room with an electric fireplace. We have a 75" TV and built-in Sonos speaker system.

 

There are two additional bedrooms upstairs -- one Master King suite and one Queen bedroom. All three bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. We have a Samsung All-in-One Washer in the loft on the upper level.

 

Lake Placid is just a 15-minute drive away!

We were visiting the Adirondacks for the first time. Jo's place is a lovely new condo in Wilmington NY. Good location for launching to many other little hamlets in the area. Whiteface Mountain Veterans Parkway is a short 15 minute drive as well as Whiteface Ski Resort. Would also recommend eating at the Hungry Trout. Jo's place was very clean, and well stocked. We certainly enjoyed our stay.

We loved the house! There is a small beach with a playground a two minute walk away. The home is clean and comfortable. It backs up to woods so the view is lovely with all of the windows. We would absolutely stay there again!

Came to this condo for a girls weekend for my birthday, we really enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the community that this condo was in. It was very quiet and peaceful and Jos home was very clean and comfortable for us. It was a weekend in minus a home, so cooking every night and having a low key time was exactly what we wanted. The community beach area was awesome, the beds/pillows were super comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked allowing us to prepare all meals with comfort. Jo was a great communicator and went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and had a great experience. We loved our stay and would most certainly come back :)

Our family wanted to escape the everday hustle and get into the mountains for a few days. The place was a perfect base camp. Beautiful view out of the large wall of windows looking right toward Whiteface Ski Area. Close to Lake Placid and Kenne Valley. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. the neighborhood had spacious lots and you really didn’t see much if anyone. I would recommend staying here and if we ever come back to the ADK’s, we would want to stay here again. Jo was a gracious host. Left a kind note to welcome is and was readily available if we had any questions.

Our friend group was looking for a place to stay close to the whiteface mountain and we got super lucky to find Jo’s house! Beautiful house, stylish & super cozy - we felt like at home right away! All this in addition to beautiful surroundings made our trip an unforgettable experience! Each bedroom had a private bathroom and a common bathroom on the first floor which was amazing for a group of 6 people. Showers deserve an additional mention - it was definitely a calming and relaxing experience! Jo is an amazing host. Communication was great, we were given a lot of recommendations about local “must-visit” places. The host is super responsive, kind and understanding! Overall, it was an unforgettable experience at Jo’s place and hopefully we can go there again in the future! we highly recommend it!!

Fantastic stay for 2 adult couples. Jo was always very responsive, friendly and available if we had any needs. Thanks to Jeffery for welcoming us and taking time to show us around. The home was spotless , modern, fully appointed, in a perfect location close to downtown PS, convenient shopping, upscale markets, hiking trails, top restaurants, nearby golf, and more. Walking the neighborhood was a great start to the day! Also enjoyed grilling outside and cooking a few meals in the fully appointed kitchen. Beds and baths were top of the line , modern and luxurious. Surrounding neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. We always felt 100% comfortable. The home would be perfect year-round with front and back yard mountain views, resort like outdoor spaces, and afternoon shade for the warmer months. This was definitely the best experience we have had in the desert after coming 2-3 times a year for too many years to count:) Thanks again and we hope to return soon!

Jo was an incredibly thoughtful and welcoming host. Check-in was seamless, and we were greeted with a basket of goodies and a handwritten note, which made us feel so at home. The house was cozy, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed—including a fully equipped kitchen and extra towels and slippers for the hot tub, which we loved using. The kids enjoyed having their own rooms upstairs, and the big windows provided stunning views. The location was great, just 20 minutes from town. Had an awesome time at this lakefront spot! The lake view was great - especially from the hot tub. Super close to the ski resort, so we were on the slopes in no time. Also loved that Twisted Raven and Hungry Trout restaurants were just a short drive away. The house was modern, had everything we needed, and was the perfect place to kick back after a day of skiing. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a chill, convenient spot!

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! Jo was a fantastic host. She was communicative and super helpful. The location was just a short drive to Whiteface Ski Resort, and the house was a perfect retreat with stunning views of the lake. The interior of the house was modern and bright. It was spacious, thoughtfully decorated and well-equipped with all the dishes, towels, and other essentials we needed. Little details included slippers left for guests to wear when heading to the hot tub, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day of skiing. There was a slight hum from the HVAC split AC system, which we could hear from the lower bedroom, but it wasn’t disruptive. Since we stayed in the upstairs bedrooms, we didn’t notice it at all. The huge TV was perfect for movies in the evening. Overall, we had a wonderful experience here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, well-appointed retreat near Whiteface. We’d love to come back!

Jo’s house (I like to call it Chalet) is fantastic. Great views of the Whiteface Mountain, secluded and private. It was only my wife and I (plus our 7 lbs dog), we enjoyed the place tremendously. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 baths (as advertised!), and very clean and comfortable, great for a family and friends. And it was absolutely worth the price and more. Jo is a phenomenal host with great communication. We will definitely consider returning and highly recommend Jo’s Chalet.

Very accommodating hosts with a great place to call home base while exploring the Adirondacks. We visited during the fall but I would be happy to return regardless of the season. Lots of room to spread out if you’re visiting with just a small family like we did, but also 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for multiple groups if necessary. Definitely plan to return in the future when the Adirondacks our names!
