Our home is minutes from the best of the Adirondacks:

• We are located on the Lake Everest beach, which includes a swimming area, volleyball court, and playground. The lake is part of the Au Sable River, which is known for world-class fly fishing.

• The Wilmington town park is right around the corner from us. It has a mountain bike pump track, skate park, tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball field, and playground

• You have access to the Marble Mountain and Whiteface trails across the street from our townhome complex. These trails connect you to the Poorman's Downhill mountain bike route.

• Lake Placid is only 15 minutes away

Jo was an exceptional host, excellent communication. Made our vacation seamless. Her home is SPOTLESS and comfortable with everything a family needs. We cooked multiple meals here with ease and appreciated the little extras Like seasonings and aluminum foil. Beautiful location - close to Whiteface for skiing. We also enjoyed snowshoeing and walking around the property. Hot tub was awesome-perfect spot for coffee in the morning and cocktails after skiing all day. We will be back!!

We had a peaceful anniversary getaway at Jo’s place. We enjoyed the spacious hot tub in the snowy winter weather. The home was lovely and very clean having everything we needed including the things we didn’t think to bring to prepare our meals. When the wind knocked out the power momentarily Jo was responsive within moments and even came out to reset the hot tub for us and was very friendly and helpful but non intrusive on our night. This was a great space for us to spend a private, quiet weekend away from the noise of the world! The views are spectacular, the local shops and restaurants in Lake placid are close and worth the drive. We highly recommend Jo’s place for a peaceful getaway in the mountains any time of year!

We loved our long weekend at Jo’s place. The condo was spotless and looked just like the pictures. Our group was 2 couples and we enjoyed having plenty of space to spread out as well as having common areas to hang out. We spent a lot of time in Lake Placid which was about a 20 minute drive from the condo. Also a great location if you plan to visit Jay or Whiteface Mountain. Jo was friendly and responsive - highly recommend.

I don't know that there could be a better Airbnb experience than the one we had with Jo in Lake Placid. beginning before a check-in, the instructions were clear and very helpful. The home was pristine and the cleanliness and organization was near five-star hotel quality. the home has everything you'll need for your stay, including not only excellent living accommodations, but also every appliance and kitchen utensil you could need. Honestly, the description does not do the location Justice. We stayed during the fall and were able to catch all of the foliage and take in the absolutely wonderful sites. only about a 20-minute ride from downtown Lake placid, the trip back and forth is so breathtaking. breathtaking there was zero hesitation to head back and forth between Lake placid and the home. Both my wife and I enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend and stay here again.

We were visiting the Adirondacks for the first time. Jo's place is a lovely new condo in Wilmington NY. Good location for launching to many other little hamlets in the area. Whiteface Mountain Veterans Parkway is a short 15 minute drive as well as Whiteface Ski Resort. Would also recommend eating at the Hungry Trout. Jo's place was very clean, and well stocked. We certainly enjoyed our stay.

Came to this condo for a girls weekend for my birthday, we really enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the community that this condo was in. It was very quiet and peaceful and Jos home was very clean and comfortable for us. It was a weekend in minus a home, so cooking every night and having a low key time was exactly what we wanted. The community beach area was awesome, the beds/pillows were super comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked allowing us to prepare all meals with comfort. Jo was a great communicator and went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and had a great experience. We loved our stay and would most certainly come back :)

Our friend group was looking for a place to stay close to the whiteface mountain and we got super lucky to find Jo’s house! Beautiful house, stylish & super cozy - we felt like at home right away! All this in addition to beautiful surroundings made our trip an unforgettable experience! Each bedroom had a private bathroom and a common bathroom on the first floor which was amazing for a group of 6 people. Showers deserve an additional mention - it was definitely a calming and relaxing experience! Jo is an amazing host. Communication was great, we were given a lot of recommendations about local “must-visit” places. The host is super responsive, kind and understanding! Overall, it was an unforgettable experience at Jo’s place and hopefully we can go there again in the future! we highly recommend it!!

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! Jo was a fantastic host. She was communicative and super helpful. The location was just a short drive to Whiteface Ski Resort, and the house was a perfect retreat with stunning views of the lake. The interior of the house was modern and bright. It was spacious, thoughtfully decorated and well-equipped with all the dishes, towels, and other essentials we needed. Little details included slippers left for guests to wear when heading to the hot tub, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day of skiing. There was a slight hum from the HVAC split AC system, which we could hear from the lower bedroom, but it wasn’t disruptive. Since we stayed in the upstairs bedrooms, we didn’t notice it at all. The huge TV was perfect for movies in the evening. Overall, we had a wonderful experience here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, well-appointed retreat near Whiteface. We’d love to come back!
